Bakker Brothers will partake in a trade mission to Nigeria this summer. The trade mission is open for Dutch businesses specializing in sustainable cities and agricultural and food products. The mission is organized by The Netherlands Enterprise Agency, a governmental institution focused on stimulating Dutch entrepreneurs and fostering international relations. Sigrid Kaag, Dutch Minister for Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation, will accompany this mission.

Wouter Bakker, Bakker Brother’s CEO and great-grandson of founder Gerrit Bakker, will travel to Nigeria looking for new opportunities. Nigeria is a market especially of interest to us, as our product development is mainly focused on the Middle-East and Sub-Sahara Africa to ensure our seeds thrive in these markets.
