Kelvedon is earlier than all other runnerbean varieties. This variety is a heavy cropper and satisfies gardeners and growers for years and years. Now you can enjoy the combination of an early, heavy pod and stringless variety. Although the variety is early, it still gives you a long picking period. The pods have a very nice medium- dark green colour. With this variety you can really taste the real juicy bean flavour again.
Pole type - Kelvedon Marvel
Variety suitable for fresh market. Flowering is orange. Seeds are coloured. Produces long, flat pods (22 cm).
Pole type - Emergo Stringless
White seeded, white flowering runner bean variety. Easy to grow, continues to produce over a long period of time. The 30 cm long, medium green pods hang in numerous clusters. The pods are very smooth and juicy and have an excellent bean flavour.
Pole type - Emergo
Emergo is a pole type runner bean which produces very long pods (32 cm). Pods are flat and of a medium green colour. Suitable for fresh market. Plant vigour is medium-strong.
Pole type - Painted Lady
Painted Lady is a variety suitable for the fresh market. Plants are medium vigorous and upright growing. Flower colour is orange, pod colour is medium-dark green. Pod length is 22 cm.
Pole type - Scarlet Emperor
Beautiful ‘blood’ red flowers with pods of 27 cm length. The Scarlet Emperor is grown for the flowers and the sweet pods. This all time favourite variety (probably the best selling runnerbean ever) has a very long picking period, which will result in that people can enjoy its rich beany sweet flavour (especially when picked young) for over a long period. The beans contain Anthocyoanis, which gives the delicious old fashioned bean taste.
Pole type - Streamline
This coloured seed variety is famous for its reliable and heavy crops. The pods are 35 cm in length and have a very beautiful medium-dark green colour. The Streamline is known for its long period of picking. The pods are really delicious and filled with nice coloured seeds. The Anthocyoanis in the beans gives the delicious nice bean taste. Beside a positive impact on the taste, studies showed the positive impact of Anthocyoanis on the health (reduction of heart diseases, anti-cancer and -viral activity).
Pole type - Prizewinner
This classic tasteful and juicy bean is a real Prizewinner. The plant is very strong and vital and will deal very well under difficult environmental conditions. Pod length is 30 cm, with a 20 mm diameter. Seed is coloured.
Pole type - Prizewinner Stringless
The well-known Prizewinner is also available in a stringless variety. Plant, flowers and pods resemble Prizewinner, but Prizewinner Stringless has slightly narrower pods.
Pole Bean - Enorma
Enorma produces very long pods (35 cm), which are suitable for the fresh market. Plant vigour is medium to strong. Flowering is orange/red, pod colour is medium-dark green.
Dwarf type - Esparot
Highly attractive dwarf runner bean variety. The compact plants of this variety are loaded with red flowers and keep on blooming over a long period. The medium-dark green pods are 15 cm long and 21 mm wide.
Dwarf type - Pallas
Heavy flowering dwarf runner bean variety. The rather bushy plants are covered by a blanket of white flowers, which makes this variety (together with its fresh medium green leaves) very attractive. The medium-dark green pods are 18 cm long and 20 mm wide.
